I have always had a love for animals, and have been capturing their unique personalities in my charcoal portraits for over a decade now for clients both local and worldwide.
Here are a few commonly asked question about my portraits:
Question: "What do you charge?"
Answer: $200 (CAD and USD) per portrait.
Question: "What if I want more then one of my pets in the portrait?"
Answer: I charge $85 for each additional pet in the portrait. You can send me two separate photos of your pets which I can incorporate into one portrait.
Question: "How big are they?"
Answer: My portraits are no smaller then 14"x16", and They will be larger (closer to 16" x 20") with 2 or 3 animals.
Question: "How do you get my pet to stay still for so many hours?"
Answer: I don't. I draw the portraits from photos supplied by you. The photo(s) must be clear, and fairly close-up. One photo is fine, but a few would be even better.
Question: "How will I get the photos to you?"
Answer: The best way would be to mail me the photos directly. I will also ask you to write the name, and a little information on your pet, so that I can understand his personality a little better, either on the back of the photo, or on a separate piece of paper. E-mail me for details.
Question: "What about the matter of payment?"
Answer: I accept both cheques and money orders. The shipping costs are included in the price for regular mail via Canada Post. If you require a speedier service such as FedEX, the cost will be calculated depending of your location. Contact me for more information on that matter.
Question: "How do I get in touch with you?"
Answer: You can e-mail me at artsyvenus@hotmail.com I and title the email "PET PORTRAIT". I will send you my mailing address once I receive your order.
What if I am not satisfied with the portrait?
Answer: I will provide a full refund to anyone not satisfied with my work, though it hasn't been an issue before.
